Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 for an appointed term? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
