And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
