Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted? 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 When shackles will be on their necks and also chains; they will be dragged. 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 Therefore have patience, the Promise of Allah is true. Whether We show you something of that We promise them or call you to Us, to Us they shall all return. 77 We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods. 78
