Whose word is better than his who calls to God and does the right, and says: "I am of the obedient?" 33 Good and evil are not alike. Repel evil with what is good. Then you will find your erstwhile enemy like a close affectionate friend. 34 Only those who exercise patience and who have been granted a great share of God's favor can find such an opportunity. 35 If a prompting from Satan should stir you, seek refuge with God: He is the All Hearing and the All Knowing. 36 And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him. 37 But if they are too proud (to do so), then there are those who are with your Lord (angels) glorify Him night and day, and never are they tired. ۩ 38 And among His signs is that you see the earth humble; then when He sends down rain upon it, it quivers and swells. He who revives is He who revives the dead, surely, He is powerful over everything. 39 Those who distort the meaning of Our message are not concealed from Us. Who is better -- someone who will be thrown into the Fire or someone who will arrive in safety on the Day of Resurrection? Do as you will, He sees whatever you do. 40 Surely those who disbelieve in the reminder when it comes to them, and most surely it is a Mighty Book: 41 Falsehood cannot enter it from any side: It's a revelation from the all-wise and praiseworthy (God). 42 Naught is said unto thee (Muhammad) save what was said unto the messengers before thee. Lo! thy Lord is owner of forgiveness, and owner (also) of dire punishment. 43 And if We had made it a non-Arabic Qur'an, they would have said, "Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Is it a foreign [recitation] and an Arab [messenger]?" Say, "It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure." And those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. Those are being called from a distant place. 44
