The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
