Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They will continue saying, "Lord, double the torment of fire for those who led us into this. 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
