Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await an adverse turn of fortune.” 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Created they the heavens and the earth! Aye! they will not be convinced. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Or is it that they have access to (the Truths in) the realm beyond sense-perception which they are writing down? 41 Or do they desire a war? But those who disbelieve shall be the vanquished ones in war. 42 Or have they a god other than God? Exalted be God over what they ascribe as partners [to Him]! 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 The day on which their struggle shall not avail them aught, nor shall they be helped. 46 The unjust will suffer other torments besides this but most of them do not know. 47 Wait patiently for the command of your Lord. We are watching over you. Glorify your Lord when you rise during the night 48 And glorify Him in the night and when the stars begin to wane. 49
