Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
