Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
