The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas rise, 6 and when all human beings are coupled [with their deeds,] 7 questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 But nay! I swear by the stars, 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
