The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
