۞ If each soul that has done evil had all that is in the earth, it would offer it for its ransom. And secretly they will feel regret when they see the punishment, and the matter is justly decided between them, and they are not wronged. 54 Is it not (the case) that to Allah belongeth whatever is in the heavens and on earth? Is it not (the case) that Allah's promise is assuredly true? Yet most of them understand not. 55 He gives life and causes death, and to Him you shall be brought back. 56 O mankind! There has come to you an admonition from your Lord, a cure for what is in the hearts, and a guide and a blessing to true believers. 57 Tell them (O Prophet!): 'Let them rejoice in Allah's grace and mercy through which this (Book) has come to you. It is better than all the riches that they accumulate. 58 Say: "Have you ever considered all the means of sustenance which God has bestowed upon you from on high - and which you thereupon divide into 'things forbidden' and 'things lawful? Say: "Has God given you leave [to do this] - or do you, perchance, attribute your own guesswork to God?" 59 What do those who ascribe falsehood to God think of the Day of Judgment? God is generous to the human being, yet many do not give thanks. 60
