The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 You will become three categories: 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 Gushing water, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 and upraised couches. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 and made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
