The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 It is the piercing star. 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He is created from a water gushing forth. 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 he shall have no power, and no helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 but I too plan against them. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
