۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
