O Prophet, tell your wives, your daughters and the believing women to draw their veils close to them, so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered. 60 cursed they shalt be, and wheresoever they are come upon they shall be seized and slaughtered all -- 61 That was the way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old; thou wilt not find for the way of Allah aught of power to change. 62 PEOPLE will ask thee about the Last Hour. Say: "Knowledge thereof rests with God alone; yet for all thou knowest, the Last Hour may well be near!" 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper. 65 On the Day when their faces will be turned over in the Fire, they will say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)." 66 They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray. 67 Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse. 68
