Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
