The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
