The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
