The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
