In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Striking? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
