The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
