And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. 82 the blast overtook them early one morning. 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 for whatever they have done! 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
