We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
