The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
