O YOU who have attained to faith! Seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: for, behold, God is with those who are patient in adversity. 153 And say not of those who are slain in God's cause, "They are dead": nay, they are alive, but you perceive it not. 154 And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, 155 who, when they are visited by an affliction, say, 'Surely we belong to God, and to Him we return'; 156 These are the people upon whom are the blessings from their Lord, and mercy; and it is they who are on guidance. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,- 159 Excepted, however, shall be they that repent, and put themselves to rights, and make known the truth: and it is they whose repentance I shall accept - for I alone am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace. 160 But those who deny, and die disbelieving, bear the condemnation of God and the angels and that of all men, 161 They will live condemned forever, will have no relief from the torment, and no attention will be paid to them. 162 AND YOUR GOD is the One God: there is no deity save Him, the Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace. 163
