Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
