The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And the promised day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
