Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
