1/2 Hizb 35

[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 Wherefore leave thou them in their bewilderment for a season. 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 And We task not any soul except according to its capacity, and with Us is a book speaking with truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 in arrogance, as if you were abandoning a story-teller. 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Do they say he is mad! No, he came to them with the truth, but most of them hate the truth. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 You are surely calling them to the right path. 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are from the path deviating. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 We inflicted Punishment on them, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor do they submissively entreat (Him)!- 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77
