Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 like water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
