And when thy Lord called to Moses, 'Go to the people of the evildoers, 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 He replied, "Lord, I am afraid that they will call me a liar. 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 So go ye twain unto Fir'awn and say: verily we are the apostles of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 "So allow the Children of Israel to go with us.' " 17 (Firon) said: Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you tarried among us for (many) years of your life? 18 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and has made me one of [His] message-bearers. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said: And what is the Lord of the Worlds? 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 The Pharaoh replied, "Bring it, if you are telling the truth." 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 Then he uncovered his hand and it was sheer white to the onlookers. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
