۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
