And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 Do they want to hasten Our torment? 204 Do you not see that even if We give them respite for years 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 Put your trust in the Mighty One, the Merciful, 217 who can see whether you stand up 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
