The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
