Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
for, [if they did, they would know that] the life of this world is nothing but a passing delight and a play - whereas, behold, the life in the hereafter is indeed the only [true] life: if they but knew this! 64 And when they mount upon the ships they pray to Allah, making their faith pure for Him only, but when He bringeth them safe to land, behold! they ascribe partners (unto Him), 65 Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to (worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know. 66 Behold they not that We have appointed an inviolable sanctuary, while men are being snatched away round about them? in falsehood then believe they, and unto the favour of Allah will they be ingrate? 67 And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith? 68 As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good. 69
True are the words of God the Almighty.
