▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
