The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
