Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
