Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 Establish worship, pay the poor-due, and bow your heads with those who bow (in worship). 43 ۞ Do you admonish others to do good and forget this yourselves? Yet you read the Book. Will you not then understand? 44 And seek assistance through patience and prayer, and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones, 45 Who know that verily they are going to meet their Lord, and that verily unto Him they are going to return, 46
