It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
