۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
