Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 until you visit the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
