Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 They who would be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
