And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Moses said: "That is what we were looking for." So the two turned back, retracing their footsteps, 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?" 66 He said: "You will not be able to bear with me. 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
