۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
