But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you, 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 What, is every one of them eager to be admitted to the Garden of Bliss? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, 42 The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal, 43 Downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
