The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
