۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
