۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 He could replace you by a new creation if He decided to. 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 The blind man is not equal with the seer; 19 And neither are darkness and brightness! 20 Nor the shade and the heat, 21 and neither are equal the living and the dead [of heart]. Behold, [O Muhammad,] God can make hear whomever He wills, whereas thou canst not make hear such as are [dead of heart like the dead] in their graves: 22 You are simply a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. 26
